|The next meeting of the Richmond Astronomical Society will be on Tuesday, December 10, 7:00 PM (note earlier time) at the Science Museum of Virginia. At our December meeting we transform into the Richmond Gastronomical Society and have an astronomically good time eating together with maybe a game of Astro-Jeopardy thrown in. Please join us for the meeting and bring a dish to share.
Comet ISON appears to have suffered considerable disintegration as it traveled past the Sun. It’s not yet certain what remains of the comet, but it’s fading fast and very diffuse. More information from Phil Plait.
