Jupiter is Dominant in April

It’s almost straight overhead, and you can use it as a landmark to identify the bright stars around it. I have it highlighted in the image (at the top)-the stars Castor and Pollux are above it. Below it, you should be able to identify the three bright stars of Orion’s belt. Since Castor and Pollux are so prominent nearby, you will be able to see Jupiter move from night to night.
