The skies at this park are very good-we could easily see the Milky Way, which is always a good omen. The park itself is very clean and well kept. We set up near a pavilion, also adjacent to bathrooms, and the sky was wide open almost all the way around. The night was hosted by the Crewe Astronomy Club, so between the two clubs, we had about four telescopes (and a giant binocular), and they were manned by Kim Kenny, Keith Johnson of the Crewe Club, and from RAS, we had Terry Barker (me), Michael Pitchford, and Laura Graham. We had about 12 campers join us for views of Jupiter, Saturn, M4, M8, and Mizar and Alcor.
