Shore-leave convention

This is in Baltimore this weekend. I’ve never been before, but it looks pretty good. It’s basically a sci-fi convention, but here’s some interesting astronomy lectures that are happening, as well.

Science Programming

This year we have some exciting new presentations planned. The folks from the Space Telescope Science Institute, Goddard Space Flight Center, and Johnson and Kennedy Space Centers will show you the latest astronomical discoveries, and talk about ongoing cutting-edge space science activities. Please join us for news from the final frontier.
